Default GA-7DXR - max. CPU?

Hi,

i currently use the GA-7DXR with an Athlon Thunderbird 1400.
IŽll upgrade the CPU.

Which is the maximum CPU i can use?

Since the board has a max FSB of 133mhz(266ddr or pc2100) you can go as
high as an AthlonXP 2400+ or an AthlonMP 2600+. This is according to
Giga-Byte's website.

AMD Athlon XP 2400+ (Easily found still)
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ 266fsb version (Very hard to find.)

However, I wish Gigabyte would add support for the MP's though. Then
the board could take a MP2800+

Even adding support for the new Duron's would be a help as well. But
you're asking for miracles there.

But I am running a 2400+ with no problems, just make sure that the
motherboard is flashed with F10 bios beforehand. Even the backup
one.
