I'm stuck between two cards...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127333 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127328 I know there are several comparison questions on here. I would intend on using it on a 22" widescreen LCD @ 1680x1050, with moderate gaming. On one hand, you have an 8800 series with 320MB of video RAM, and the other is a 9600 series with 512MB of video RAM. Which would get better FPS, given there were no other bottlenecks at 1680x1050? Thanks. |

If it was a 640Mb version for the same price I'd consider. Maybe. But the 9600GT is a superior card. The OC versions run basically the same as a stock G92 8800GT 512Mb. At 1680x1050 gaming, you're going to want more than 256Mb in modern and upcoming titles. |

This 8800GT 512Mb is the same as the 9600GT after rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814134028 |

I thought maybe on a 19" screen or smaller, that 8800 320 would work fine, but on a larger screen, I thought that actually that 320MB of video RAM would bottleneck the rest of the video card. |
