avi output on TV

I am using the clone display on the nvidia desktop manager, any

in driver settings Overlay Controls, set the Full Screen Device to
secondary display (which will be TVout)


Alternatively, in the nView Display Mode screen, set the TV as the
primary display. You'll lose video playback on the monitor while this
is in effect tho as, if fullscreen video mirror is disabled, you can
play video only on the primary display.

Does anyone know why? Im sure in older drivers it was possible. Also, if
you run the DirectX tests, all of those display on both displays except the
DirectX 9 tests, which I found quite strange.
