avi output on TV
"Marko" wrote in message ... "Paul Gunson" wrote in message ... Yen wrote: I have managed to get my nvidia mx440 outputing to my TV with the S- video port, and all seems fine, but when I play a avi file in media player or winDVD I get the window, but no movie, just a black screen where the movie should be it works fine on my monitor. I am using the clone display on the nvidia desktop manager, any ideas what I am doing wrong... in driver settings Overlay Controls, set the Full Screen Device to secondary display (which will be TVout) Alternatively, in the nView Display Mode screen, set the TV as the primary display. You'll lose video playback on the monitor while this is in effect tho as, if fullscreen video mirror is disabled, you can play video only on the primary display. Marko Does anyone know why? Im sure in older drivers it was possible. Also, if you run the DirectX tests, all of those display on both displays except the DirectX 9 tests, which I found quite strange. Dan |
