is there a group for the AMD XP ? ( dont have $$ for 64 ) [ or dont think i
need to spend it for that kind of speed ]

alt.comp.hardware.amd.thunderbird

Even though the name says "thunderbird", it seems to have become a
generic amd cpu group.

alt.comp.hardware.overclocking.amd would be the best the Athlon XP line.
