Default MSA1000, Linux & Securepath

Anyone know if I would need securepath with Linux & MSA1000 arrays?
I'm guessing I can just use the qlogic 23xx failover driver.

Qlogic driver seems to be designed for situations with where array's paths
have a common wwn, but different wwpn's (or vice versa? something
like that.) It uses the commonality to detect multiple paths.

Any advice at all would be appreciated.
