Default SCSI firmware upgrade ):

Hi all. I tried to flash the firmware on my AHA-3960D CPQ01 SCSI card,
and it's failed. The program ran ok, from dos floppy, with no emm etc
running as requested. It cleared down the old firmware, then said it
couldn't write the new stuff.

The only reason that I can think of is that it was in a 32 bit PCI slot
at the time.

Is there any way out of this? On a PC clone, the card halts post, and on
a DL-360 it comes up with an error 101, and halts post again. Because of
this, I doubt that I can re-write the flash.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Cheers,

Steve
