EDID problem - Apple LCD/ Geforce 6800GT
Geforce 6800GT will not display any PC bios screens or Windows boot
screens with this monitor. Same system with Geforce4 4200ti works perfectly. 6800GT works 100% once in Windows with 41.77 installed- if and only if I boot with an analog VGA monitor attached at same time. EVGA cards manufacturer is blaming it on Apple. Here is the EDID information from the monitor. Any ideas about what might be going on? Why would the 4200ti be able to display text mode and 640x480 boot resolutions without a problem? Monitor Windows description......... Plug and Play Monitor Manufacturer description....
