OT - Nvidia motherboards and PCI express

Does anyone know when the new PCI express Nvidia boards will come out?

I am hoping to upgrade to AMD 64 soon, but I dont want to buy 'old tech' as
the system will have to last for a few years.

Also, does anyone know whether the new boards support DDR2?
