Default Distored screen in bios with tvout

I have a leadtek gforce 250 with an svhs tvout and digital screen connected
(windows xp, latest nvidia driver). When i start my computer my bios
messages are of a poor quality. As soon as the windows xp logo appears
everything is allright. My bios setup is also of poor quality. Disconnecting
the vhs-plug solves the problem.

anyone has an idea what the problem can be???

Thomas
