Default Sound S-s-tutters 7N400Pro2

Have been using board for 6 months+ all seems to be well except that the
audio plays for a couple seconds, hesitates then continues for a couple
seconds, hesitates... I have 2 SATA WD Raptors striped for C drive, 2GB
RAM, working dual channel. Added all latest MOBO drivers, latest Win2k
updates. Have even tried disabling onboard sound and added Soundblaster and
it has the same stammering problem.

Any ideas? TIA
