Default Geforce2 Ti, Linux Mandarake 2006, slow 2D

Hi,

what could be a reason that 2D is very slow/sluggish when compared with
the win2k running on the same hardware.

I use nvidia_legacy-kernel-2.6.12-12mdk-7174-1mdk driver.

Thx,
A.
