TV resolution with Catalyst 3.6
Hi,
I'm having a following problem with my Sapphire Radeon 9700 Pro videocard: After installing the newest Catalyst drivers (3.6) and the newest Control Panel application, the resolution of my TV display is set to 512x384. (in the display tab of ATi drivers). Windows won't allow the secondary display resolution to go below 800x600, so every time I use TV display I'm forced to use virtual desktop, because the maximum resolution the ATi driver gives to my TV is 512x384 and the lowest resolution Windows allows to use is 800x600. This was not an issue with previous drivers (Catalyst 3.5), where the TV resolution was set to 800x600, if I recall correctly. My question is, how to increase the resolution given to TV by ATi drivers? So I wouldn't have to use "virtual desktop", which isn't very useful for example when viewing movies... Sorry that my explanation of the problem was pretty unclear. Hope you understand what I mean. Thanks in advance Timo R. |
