Thanks for your reply MinMin, the only problem is the Ti4200 has an issue when used with the latest drivers and Soldier Of Fortune 2 so I thought just buying a new Graphics card would then let me use the new drivers.. Cheers |

I`m on a budget so some advice would be great.. Keep your card, the 5600XT is an ULTRA SLOW edition of the FX5600 and that one is already slower then your current card! |

Cheers I read that the best drivers for our cards (Ti4x00 versions) seems the 43.xx and 45.xx. I have had but problems with the latest 5x.xx versions on a card like your. These drivers are optimized for the latest 5200+ cards. I have SOF 1 and 2 and most other first person shooters and I get lower framerate and colour distortions with the 5x.xx drivers. Keep your 4200 until you have more money, and a good reason to upgrade. At this time, mine runs all games splendidly. Perhaps (and perhaps only), will I upgrade when doom 3 or HL2 comes up. Cheeras |

Also as a footnote I found a "Reghack" and now overclocked it to 300mhz Core and 550Mhz Memory Clock, i`ve read that the "Gold Sample" are suppose to be quite good at coverclocking so i`m now going to play ;0) Thanks Again |

Hell only once the games you wish to play REALLY get chucky on your card, then you replace it! |
