epson printer problem with KT7-Raid
Pretty sure you can get a parallel -to- USB adapter for the Epson (or
generic) Then plug it into USB and it will probably work better. CC "Silent" wrote in message ... I have a KT7-Raid with a 850 MHz Athlon. I had no big problems, until a few time ago I just couldn't print anything. First I though the problem was the printer or maybe windows, but tried in another computer and it worked fine. I then tried on my pc, on w98 I had (dual boot) same problem as in XP, pulls paper, moves head as it was printing only one line at the top and passes on to the nest paper. Even if this is a 2 or 3 line document it keeps pulling paper until it runs out.. I was hoping it would be the windows, so yesterday I formatted my hard drive and installed a clean XP pro, but the simptoms are the same, already tried changing the LPT port from ecp to epp and to normal, no avail. I'm afraid the port has gone bad, anyone has had this type of problem before? I have the latest version of the bios, and already flashed it one more time to make sure it hasn't got corrupt. As I said, I have a Abit KT7-Raid motherboard, and the printer is an epson stylus color 400. |
