Please Help!!
I have a KT7A-RAID motherboard, and I am trying to add a third hard drive
using the raid IDE ports on the motheroard. The hard drive is recognized when I boot the computer, but windows doesn't want to accept it. The error I get when it trys to install the Mass Storage Controller states that the inf file was written for Windows 95. What am I doing wrong and what can I do to fix this? Please, if you have any info at all, email me at (remove the -NOSPAM-) TIA Brad Rempel |

I had the same thing just a week ago
solve this by selecting the option "have a disk..." below the screen when you install the driver (or update the driver from the properties page ) and point to the subfolder for your OS and select the inf file (hpt3xx.inf) this time it will give you a notice about the unsigned driver, just answer "Yes" , reboot and it will work bon chance "Brad Rempel" wrote in message . .. This is from memory, so details may be fuzzy. When you extract the Highpoint
driver files, there should be separate folders for Win95, XP, etc. When Windows detects the new hardware, you need to point it to the right folder. "Brad Rempel" wrote in message . ..
