ok story
i wanted a video card
boughtr a fx 5600 ultra best buy
took it home played with it didnt like my 3d score of 6600~ on 3dmark 2001se
brought it back
bought 9600 pro (ati)
3dmark 7406~
played my games Americas army sof2 and bf 1942
artifacts looked like crap compared to fx5600 ultra
brought it back
rebought my fx 5600 ultra AND got the open box discount
so yaDA yada yada
ill take quality over frame rates and synthetic benchmarks
got like 70 fps with 9600 pro AA
get like 60 fps with fx @ 1024x768 high details
but the fx looks way better my system

dual pIII 1000s' oc'ed 1.013ghz
ecs d6vaa
512 pc150 corsair
60 gig ata 100
sparkle fsp550-60plg 550w eps power supply=NEW
i bought this power supply for 37 bucks brand new
and for the fx card you better have more than 350 watts

But what I've been hearing before is that ATI has better quality
graphics especially with AA an AF running than the nVidia cards which
perform better high FPS?
