Default Video Card Dead or Compatibility Issue

About 2 months ago, my computer started requiring 'practice boots'
before it would boot up. I'd have to turn it on and off and on and
off several times before I would see anything on the screen. I
Recently upgraded from a SoyoKT333 Dragon Ultra to a SoyoKT400 Dragon
Ultra because I thought it was my mobo giving me problems and since
the upgrade, I have gotten no video on my Gainward Geforce 4 TI4600
video card. I'm wondering if the video card died or whether its just
not compatible with my new motherboard or what. Any Ideas/suggestions
would be awesome. Thanks.
