Problem playing back captured MPEG 2 files HELP ?
Well Ive finally installed Catalyst 3.9 drivers and ATI Multimedia player
8.7 for my Athlon PC and older Radeon 64mb DDR TIVO card. Capturing is beautiful and smooth and I am saving to MPEG2 format. .. HOWEVER, when I try to play back an MPEG2 file I save to my hard drive with ATI player I am getting the following error message:- Rmanager unable to playback file or something similar. Also WM player 9.0 and Realone player wont play the file either. Any ideas anyone ? -- Cheers, Slattery (H0llyw00d H0gan). Running on The Internet Group at 56k. |

Try using a DVD player like PowerDVD. If it's a VBR MPEG-2 file, then
most standard players won't be able to play it at all. If all else fails, you may need to reencode it. Go to vcdhelp.com if you need help doing that. BG |
