Default AvP Gold Edition with nVidia 6600GT

Been on the web and it would seem that this (old but fun) game doesn't work
with a driver version above 66.93. Bad news as I thought it'd make a cool
change for an upcoming LAN session.

Problem is while the game installs and runs up OK, when you start a level
the screen doesn't draw correctly. It's completely black and any lights in
the level are left on screen leaving a trail when you mouse look. After a
couple of secs the screen is just a huge mess

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts of a workaround (apart from
installing old drivers!) for this. I was thinking about something like
3DAnalyze and/or perhaps a game profile adjustment or any ideas really!? I
wouldn't know what to try - anything I've done so far has had no effect

I'm currently running 71.89 btw.
Thanks in advance!

I too have some issues with this game on sli-gtx 7900.

The message box makes that part of the screen flicker.

Bye,
Skybuck.
