purchasing advice
I'm in the market for a new video card.
I know I want need a PCI-Express x16 with 128 MB RAM. My budget is $100-$120. I've browsed new egg and my local computer stores and the same brands keep popping up: MSI, Chaintech, PNY. Can you suggests some manufacturers or models? Thanks. |

MSI, Chaintech are both licensed GPU card makers. Abit, ASUS and Gigabyte are some good choices also. One more thing, BE SURE to buy a card that suits your needs. A lot will tell you that you should get a 6600GT and 6800 Geforce cards when in most cases a 6200 will do fine with enough ram onboard. When searching, look for features that you want or need and the power that's necessary to do the tasks. |
