Default Notify Alert.exe

When my 8400 boots up, an error message crops up:

Notify Alert.exe - Application has generated .....

I click OK, the Dell Notification icon in the taskbar disappears and
all is well.

What gives? Where can I shut this notifier off??

This is for Dell Support 2.0 - yours is likely version 3.0, but maybe these
settings instructions will help:

http://service.dell.com/dell/kb/tech...+16456,00.html

You can also just uninstall 'dell support' via add/remove programs in
control panel...
