Showed a BIG Intel braggart my POS little Athlon XP 2500 system on a Soltek
board run circles around his faster machine in video and audio programs. He
He He

He just went down to Office Depot and bought himself an Athlon based video
production machine.
(Was cheaper than me building him one; course I quoted better components)

Mmmmmmmm, have to ask him if crow tastes good with ketchup.

Gotta love it.

we all use amd becuase they are simply cheaper than intel
currently
amd make cpu's for low latancy
intel made the p4 so they could cram in as much mhz as they can, as a result
not surprisingly a 2ghz amd is about the same as a 3ghz p4

however as i currently like amd, if intel make something worth of my money
over amd, bye bye amd, however i like the idea of the underdog thing
and amd systems overall can be good quality since nvidia the nforce2 chipset
