Nforce Drivers 2.45 - Can anyone list benefits?
Alan wrote:
If anyone has installed these new drivers, could you let us know what you have found. What are the benefits, speed, stability? Are there more benefits for Rel 2 or Rel 1 boards? Any shortcomings? Is this upgrade complete? Or is this a case of if it works fine without them, then don't touch. Cheers, Alan Also, I would be curious as to how to find out what version of drivers I am running now. I see Nvidia Nforce2 drivers in my add/remove programs, just not sure what version they are. Do most folks just install over the top of their existing drivers? -- Don Burnette remove clothes when replying via email |

I installed the 2.45 drivers over the top as uninstalls usually upset my ATi
drivers. Also, I would be curious as to how to find out what version of drivers I am running now. I see Nvidia Nforce2 drivers in my add/remove programs, just not sure what version they are. Right click on desktop - properties - Setting tab - Advanced - Then click on the Nvidia tab and where it has the "Driver Version Information" table if you look at the version number it's the last 4 digits, ie. 6.14.10.4403 = detonator 44.03. nForce 2, not GeForce. Ben -- I'm not just a number. To many, I'm known as a string... |

Well I can confirm that GTA3 Vice city now has sound without loud
crackling noises. Pug "Don Burnette" wrote in message ... Alan wrote: If anyone has installed these new drivers, could you let us know what you have found. What are the benefits, speed, stability?
