9800 pro

it may, but you have two hard drive, etc; try it, if you have
issues raise the AGP slot voltage to 1.6, if still problems get a new
power supply

3. i dont know if i got the extra connector to power up these card or

should come with the card

4.does the motherboard has that particular connector to power up the

power comes directly from power supply

plus i got a xp2600 333
2 hard drive and 2 cd-rom.

no add on card (pci)

Check out Tom's Hardware testing, probably others - try Googling

Work it out;

3. i dont know if i got the extra connector to power up these card or

Most cards probably will come with a power splitter, but it is a generic
cable used to split HDD power supplies, so any one will do.

As above...(if you are asking what I think you are.)

Your power supply is too small for that hardware combination.

Yes, ATI is the answer if the question is "I want to get ****ed, do
you know which card I should buy?"

After a fighting ATI products from 1994-1998 I switched to Nvidia,
then at christmas time 2003 I bought into the "ATI has finally got
their **** together" propoganda. I purchased a genuine retail box
9600pro and have had nothing but trouble out of it... so I went out
and got a 5900xt (leadtek with 2.2ns ram) and it smoked the 9600pro
like a cheap cigar. Overclocked, it smokes the 9800pro - but - where
nvidia shines over ati so completely is non-game computing. Everything
LOOKS better, everything runs better, and there are absolutely NO
problems what so ever.

Is this a 'troll'? No. It's the honest-to-god truth. After being
****ed by ATI for so long, I feel as though it's my life's ambition to
make sure as many people know the evils of ATI as possible.

Your 1 in 10000 should we not buy a product because 1 in10000 are no
good? Or better yet, 1 in 100000 can't install a vidcard should we
stop buying all vidcards?

That's so funny because in my case everything you say is the opposite. I
didn't "buy" into anything when I decided to give ATI a try. After owning
four Nvidia cards over that last 4 years. I did my homework and after a lot
of reading I decided to go with the 9800Pro. I couldn't be happier. All my
games run and look fantastic, I haven't had one problem with the drivers or
the card, going from 2000Pro to XPPro was hassle free, and my 2D looks so
much better I noticed it the sec my PC booted because the start up screens
look better! I do smell a troll here, but I decided to feed it anyway
because I sure would hate to have some poor guy believe this crap and stick
with Nvidia when he could have the fantastic 9800Pro, and for a lot cheaper
then Nvidia's flagship card to boot! JLC

Seems funny to me the ammount of people who build machines or upgrade
machines who simply have no idea.

Way back when Adam was a cowboy I had a S3 2Meg card. Decided I wanted to
play a few games so I brought a Nvidia TNT2 and it rocked. No problems.
Then a while down the track I decided to upgrade to a Nvidia GeForce2 MX and
it rocked. Loved it. A while after that I decided it was time to upgrade
again but this time I was into alot of desktop and video work so I brought a
Nvidia GeForce 4 MX460. It rocked too. Recently I thought I might like a
few Dx9 features so I brought a ATi Radeon 9800PRO. And Guess what? It
rocks too!!!

AMD/Intel/Nvidia/ATi/ It doesn't matter. Whatever you pick you will always
find at least one idiot who can't put a system together without problems.
