Default Hooking Up SPeakers to SoundCard

I bought a cheap pair of speakers (2 speakers and a subwoofer). The SW has
an AC cord. The 2 speakers have wires that merge into one jack.

My Sound card has a L out and R out, and a Cen/Sub port.

How do I hook these up? Do I plug both the speakers and SW in the card,
even though I don't have a L and R for the speakers? Or do I plug the
speakers into the SW? The SW has an In and Out port.

Sorry to be dense. Appreciate any help.

If they're like my cheap 2.1s then the satellites are connected to the
sub and the sub is connected to the stereo out of your sound card.
Unless you have a really freaky sound card, you should be able to
configure it for a stereo out.

HTH.

The speakers plug into the SW, and the SW into the stereo
front channel line-out jack on the sound card, not the L or
R out. It is uncommon for there to be a L and R out too,
are you sure one isn't the MIC in or rear channels out?
