Geforce FX 5600 and "Dawn"
I have been using a Jaton Geforce FX 5600/256. Everything works fine
-- games, modelling packages, etc. -- except for the NVidia demos. Dawn and Ogre both crash. This worries me! Has anyone else encountered this? If so, was there a solution? Would this be a sign of a "bad card"? Thanks! I am running an AMD Athlon 1400, 512 megs DDR RAM, Windows XP Pro, DirectX 9, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card, and 44.xx detonators. |

You need the patch to undress dawn. that should add another minute of fun.

The NVidia demos need SSE, so they'll only run on Athlon XPs or Pentium 3/4 machines.. it's a pain, but the demos are only fun for 1 minute anyway, so you're not missing much. Cheers, Dean |
