Default Scheduler problem?

I have 2 events scheduled to record from the TV tuner on my 8500 AIW (latest
8.5 multimedia center and drivers).
First I created an event (which ran last Fri) and is a repeating event every
Friday. Today I added a second event for a one time record and I have a
yellow exclamation over each event's check box.

My weekly event starts at 8:59pm, and I program the the one time event at
6:59 for 2:02 (to allow for a little overlap). I then get the exclamation
mark. If I change the duration to 2:00 then the exclamation goes away.

I'm guessing the exclamation is warning that there is overlap between the
events, but it's really not. Is this a bug in the scheduler?
