Default Nikon CoolScan II & windows XP

Dear all,

I have a nikon coolscan III, an adaptec SCSI adaptor, and I can't get it
to work on win XP pro.

In device manager:

* scsi card works,
* nikon coolscan III was detected, and is working, and it is in the win
xp scanner's list.

But when launching Nikon Scan 3.1.2, he says he can't find any active
peripheral. Any hint?????

Thanks,
Alain Bourgeois

I do not know if this download of the ASPI will fix your problem, but
Windows XP does not have this driver installed. The ASPI interface is used
with SCSI cards to communicate with scanners on the Scsi card.
