Default RunCore SSD the best upgrade for Dell Mini 9 drive?

I need more than the 8 gigs on my current Dell Mini (
drive

Is the RunCore brand generally considere3d the best of
the upgrade SSD's?

http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/Cat...i+9+PCI-e+SSDs

If yes..... anyone know where the heck to buy one that
is in stock?!

it is not that they are the defacto best, but they are the best for the mini
9 that has a very tight space requirement. they are good becuase they fit
the mini 9, and becuase they are fast, and becuase they have a mini usb port
that lets your mount it as a usb drive which makes it easy for you to clone
the contents of your existing drive to the new before swaping it out.
mydigitaldiscount is the only source for them that i have seen.

Ok thanks for the help Christopher!

You confirmed what I "thought" was
special abt the RunCore model

I looked at some SSD upgrades for Mini 9
on Crucial web page and it looks like
they do NOT have the onboard mini usb
port.....which I will need, right?

afaik, other drives that fit the mini 9 are a lot slower and not a lot
cheaper. so it is worth getting/waiting for the runcore.
as for the usb port, it certainly makes thing easier, but you have two
alternatives to get the os on the new drive... 1) use trueimage to copy your
current internal drive to an external usb drive, then create a bootable usb
thumb drive, install the runcore, boot from the thumb drive, and restore the
image of the original drive from the external usb drive to the runcore. 2)
install the runcore and reinstall the operating system from scratch
(presumably with an external usb cd/dvd drive.
