Default ga-ma69gm-s2h usb problem...

....the MB has 6 usb2 ports. if i put an external drive into any of the
slots, it's recognized as a usb2 device. if i put my voip box into any of
the slots it's listed as usb1. also the voip box only works in one of the
slots (i get what seems to be rf interference in any of the others - weird
sounds, won't connect). the usb mouse also shows as usb1. i keep getting a
"this device would work better on a usb2 port" error message. any clues?
