Default SATA Ports & Overclocking = NO ?

A friend of mine with a GA-8KNXP I think, stated that you can't

overclock
as it affects the SATA Ports, as they get overclocked as well.

Any info or facts on this..?

Thanks

Roger.

We have a PIV 2.4 FSB clocked to 2.6 and a 120GB Maxtor SATA drive which
works fine.
