DX10 in XP
* Nonymous:
UAC is more hazzle than help, it nags you even for very basic things but then it doesn't provide enough information to tell the user about what exactly UAC is warning. Go to the Security Center under Control Panel and click the button to disable it. Next! I already did that long ago. Makes handling much easier. But disabling UAC is definitely not the way it's supposed to be, especially since this can lead to other problems (i.e. some programs malfunctioning) as well... Benjamin |

Hell, I'm still on Win2K and everything runs great (and no activation bs to put up with). Yeah, me too. I read that Dell asked for and got a one year extension allowing them to sell computers with XP. It seems a lot of businesses didn't want Vista. |

If XP won't run DX10, there's not need to get a DX10 card. Unless you want the 5 to 10 times faster DX10 provides and are willing to upgrade to Vista. 5 TO 10 times faster what? 5 to 10 times more overhead. and 5 to 10 time more cost! |

Gee, I can just see the military industrial complex happily running a bunch of spyware subsystems while they're trying to do all their black ops business Supposedly a lot of what our legit spy organizations do is essentially industrial spying in other countries. Guess how Europe feels about Vista ? Enron, HP,... ROTFLOL |
