Default Network problem with Epson 2100

We have a new Epson Stylus Photo 2100 attached via USB to a W98 SE PC, and
shared on our network. When adding this printer to other PCs, W98, Win ME
and W2000 all connect OK but we have problems with Windows XP. When adding
the printer, the driver files are copied then the add printer wizard hangs
for about 10 minutes before finishing. The test page prints out OK but when
selecting this printer from a print dialog box (any application) it will
hang for 10 minutes again. This happens with 3 separate XP boxes even with
the drivers downloaded from the Epson website.

Thanks.
