QuakeCon: what cards was Nvidia running ?
They all had FX5900 Ultras. Don't know what brand. Probably Nvidia
reference cards. Alienware set them up. Dave "Roger Squires" wrote in message . .. Anyone know what cards were running? post-5900s maybe? "AMD had a booth area set up across from NVIDIA, and was also displaying games and featuring playable demos. These machines were running NVIDIA technology as well, although there was a bit of mystery surrounding exactly what kind. Whenever we asked what kind of cards the AMD machines were running, all that anyone from AMD or NVIDIA would say is that "the machines featured super secret technology". At first we thought they were just joking with us. But soon enough we found out that they were completely serious." rms |
