Logitech cordless duo crashes XP
Anyone have a clue why my logitech cordless duo would cause XP to spontaneously reboot? Otherwise my
systems have been rock solid. Anyone else notice this? It happens maybe once a month. All of a sudden mouse and keyboard lock then PC reboots. This is my 2nd PC and 3rd build and it still happens. Previous MB was A7V8X-X this one is a A7N8X-E Deluxe. I'm about ready to throw the parts out the window if I didn't enjoy the wireless feature so much. Thanks for any help. |

I don't have this piece but you could try moving the USB device to another USB port. Also, in System Startup and Recovery in Device Manager there is an option to automatically restart on all errors. Uncheck it. It is on by default. Lots of spontaneous reboots are caused by this as well. |

So the same hardware is stable with a different keyboard/mouse coombo?
If so, have you tried the hardware without the Logitech SW? FWIW I have three machines with Logitech wireless combos, no probe with any of them. There is a problem with the MX cordless mouse and XP. you can use the default monse set up in ths control panel. I went to the logitec website and downloaded the latest driver for XO but havn' tried it yet. Check out the Logitech web sire on problems with the MX cordless mouse and their drivers, there is a newer version that is suppose to work with XP. DOUG |
