Is this the time to expect price drops??
Since it is nearly the end of a quarter for Dell, which I believe is 1/31,
should Dell be lowering the prices?? Thanks, Robert |

How's this for a definitive answer: Maybe
They usually do that (if they do it at all) the last week of the quarter - so yes, the last week in January. Keep an eye peeled until there is something you like. "Robert" wrote in message ... It sounds like funny timing, but Oct. 31 was the end of the last quarter. I
purchased a laptop that week, and considered buying a server and 5 workstations from Dell too. The salesmen were really hustling to give breaks and make sales that week. So the last week of January may be a good time to buy. I recommend that you investigate the possibilities now so you know what you really want. (I had just started looking that week, so made some hasty choices that I regretted.) Hope you get a good buy. Nan "Robert" wrote in message ...
