Default Is this the time to expect price drops??

Since it is nearly the end of a quarter for Dell, which I believe is 1/31,
should Dell be lowering the prices??

Thanks,
Robert

How's this for a definitive answer: Maybe

They usually do that (if they do it at all) the last week of the quarter -
so yes, the last week in January. Keep an eye peeled until there is
something you like.

It sounds like funny timing, but Oct. 31 was the end of the last quarter. I
purchased a laptop that week, and considered buying a server and 5
workstations from Dell too. The salesmen were really hustling to give breaks
and make sales that week. So the last week of January may be a good time to
buy.
I recommend that you investigate the possibilities now so you know what you
really want. (I had just started looking that week, so made some hasty
choices that I regretted.)
Hope you get a good buy.
