Default Need help picking a Jetdirect card

According to the HP website, all these Jetdirect cards are compatible with
my Designjet 650c but what is the difference between them? Is there a
reason to pick on over another? It's an ethernet network.

J2550A/B

J2552A/B

J2556B HP

J2371A
J2372A

Method of selecting which JetDirect card to get

1) Price
2) Availability
3) Ease of installing
4) Your level of comfort adding this card to the Designjet

There is a useful table of these at
http://www.printertechs.com/jetdirec...ct-gallery.php

The difference is the kind of port(s) and the speed.

You see for instance that the J4100A is 10/100Base-TX, the J2550 is
10Base-T, the J2552 has Appletalk, 10Base-T and BNC.

Anyway, 10Base-T (ethernet) is the basic minimum connection which they
all have, and all you need to network, so get whichever is the
cheapest.
