Nforce3-250GB: GeforceFX cards get huge speedups on this chipset ??
Well, fairly huge anyway. In a cpu/bus-bound game like Quake3, 30% faster.
http://www.techreport.com/reviews/20...x/index.x?pg=1 I would guess the performance gap between the next-generation nvidia & ati cards on this same chipset in these types of games (which there should be more of, given the speed of the new cards) could be even wider than with the FX cards. rms |

Gee, do you think they had motive, time, and resources to come up with a better video driver for their own new chipset ? I'm soooo impressed. PS So how's their 2D ? STILL crap ? Bet they love flat panel monitors at nVidia. |
