Default Whats your test for determining the overclock?

I use the Pixel shader in 3dmark03, when the shimmering stops on the baby
rhinoceros butt that means no artifacts are being produce by the overclock.

Is there a better way?

I get 414/360 using a Pro BIOS hacked 9800np with 2.8ns samsung

I like to use the Mother Nature test in 3dmark 03.
Some like ATITtool. You can get it here.

It seems to tell that I can overclock my 9500 Pro to 350Mhz Core and
320Mhz memory. Not bad...

Though I don't need to overclock right yet, games run just fine right
now already!

Real games!

The ones that cause the biggest artifacts the quickest seem to be Lock-on
and far cry... prolly because they are actually using the full memory of the
card.

Demos dont tend to do that because they dont use all your card memory. I
can usually run most demos 10% faster than I can in games... so they dont
seem to be a good indicator of 'good overclock' (ie no artifiacts ever).
