Vuescan, XP Coolscan III
Howdy,
I'm getting odd results with this combination. When I scan a slide, the histogram shows all values are in the bright half of the range. The darkest areas (0% transmission on the slide) read in the neighborhood of RGB 100, 50,50 I get fine results with my Epson 2450 flatbed through Vuescan. The SCSI card is a AHA-2940, aspichk.exe says everything is fine, XP device manager says the Coolscan III is working properly ... Is there a Vuescan setting I don't know about? I'm brand new to Vuescan. Thanks, Kent
