Happy as a b
Hello,
I just wanted to share my experience with other dell owners. Recently I bought a dell dimension e520 with Intel Core 2 Duo e6600 processor. I was happy with the processor because it's 2 times (if not more) faster than my old system. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was the videocard, it came with an ATI x1300 pro. This card was no game card. For some obscure reason the only card it can handle is a single slot card with no 6 pin connector for external power. This hampered my search for a better card. But today I finally got a videocard that my pc could handle: XFX Geforce 8600GT XXX. It's faster than a geforce 7600gt (from Asus) and it's even faster than a geforce 7800gtx. I had the gtx on my previous system. The only thing that I'm not too happy about is that Oblivion (nice looking game) does not recognize the card. But this is understandable since it's a very recent card and the game is from 2006. Bye, White Lotus Dragon |
