any chance of a mobo from abit using this chipset (read in msg)
Intel® 975X Express Chipset
and possibly offering hybrid hd support, also other high end options like ramdrive(killer access time, but no retention if pwr fails...great for dedicated swapfile drive) + flashdrive (also fast access time[faster than any hd out there now] as it would provide true "instant" boot speeds and have long term retention[even with pwr off], available in 1/2gig up to 8gig sizes[4+gig is plenty for os, or a few games], extra pci-e slot for optional dual main vid card(quad monitors would be nice for extreme gaming and multimedia editting). totally scalable bus(imagine selecting each section/slot of the mobo to perform at different speeds of your choosing. i have made some of these suggestions to intel as well, also some other ideas on custom mobo's and cpu's which i haven't told anybody about yet |
