Unless, of course, you hang onto those video cards past their "Best Before" date. :-) It has been said that HL2 will run at top whack on a 1GHz machine, provided you have a good video card. Hence, with two Vid cards only a 2GHz machine (probably less) would be required to take advantage of them. The thing with modern graphics cards is that they offload so much of the work that the CPUs used to do, that you don't need such a fast one.
