GA-8INXP - SATA-Raid while PATA is present

Hello!

My Problem!! I Installed a Raid Array on the onboard sata controller!
For this i used 2 160GB Samsung drives! I created the array in the
controllerbios and installed the drivers in my on a PATA installed Win
XP! Now I could use the Raid Array
(formating/partitioning/Writing/reading)!

The next step was to install a XP version on the serial ATA Raid
array! So i startet XP setup. installed the onboard controller
driver (pressing F6) and started the installation! After formating
the drive/partition and copying the XP-files on the drive a restart
was made by the setup! Now the system stuck when the boot menu should
appear! The errormessage was in german and sounds like this: There is
an IDE configuration error!

From this i was unable to start my old OS on PATA! I had to rescue it
by running XP Setup again! Now the Boot menu was there again and i
could start XP on PATA! next i tried to change the bios settings -
without succes!

without success!

I tried the latest driver from Gigabytewebsite: No success!

So i disabled the IDE controller of my old OS-device in bios! Now the
new installation of XP on SATA Raid proceed and i could start win XP
on SATA Raid! but how to use the old PATA drive now??? I enabled the
IDE controller again, but the SATA Raid wasn´t booting! I tried
everything - but no success!

So plz help me! What can I do to USE MY SATA RAID while PATA is
present?????
