Default SATA Hard Drives

I am looking at a new Dell 8300. It says in specs that it comes with a
120 GB SATA Hard Drive. Does anyone in this group know if I can
install my old ATA Drive from my existing computer into this machine?

TIA Scott

Yes, it will still run a parallel ATA drive from an older system.

I thought the SATA setup meant the cables were different?

They are, but the system in question, like most these days, also has PATA

So, assuming a maximum of two hard drives can be fitted, you can mix and
match or even use two non-serial ATA drives?
