euro sign doesn't work
hello ppl,
I have a compaq presario 1245 laptop (pentium2) and I used to be able to enter the euro sign by pressing the ctrl, alt and "5" keys at once, but now it doesn't work anymore. Any ideas on how to solve this or what the prblem might be? I am using windows ME. thanks in advance! E |

I'm not familiar with that keypress combination. Possibly Word or other
utility software provides certain special characters that way. However provided you have the appropriate character set installed and active in the document you're working on, you should be able to enter any character by pressing Alt + "code". Presumably you have a character map utility in WinME to find out the proper "code" (4 digits).
