Intel G33 SATA mode
My cousin bought a HP PC based on Intel G33 chipset. The SATA mode of the chipset by default is IDE and JBOD mode, and Vi$ta was installed. Could I just go to the BIOS to reset the mode to SATA II mode and expect Vi$ta to boot fine? -- @~@ Might, Courage, Vision, SINCERITY. / v \ Simplicity is Beauty! Try it, there is little harm, you'll just get a bluescreen if you haven't installed the appropriate drivers first. |

So the AHCI/RAID chipset driver of G33 is not part of the Intel INF driver? Or was it not installed because HP used IDE mode to set up the PC? |

Transfer rate is higher now. -- @~@ Might, Courage, Vision, SINCERITY. / v \ Simplicity is Beauty!
