Default AVG 8.0

AVG8.0 has treated the AsusUpdate (7.13.04 ) as a trojan (a back door
trojan). When I download the latest version or update it via the AsusUpdate
program, it is locked by AVG as an threat alert !!!

ASUS Update bricked my P5B-Plus. Had to RMA to Asus under warrantee. It is a
huge threat. Update your BIOS from DOS or use the BIOS utility with a thumb
drive.

Turn off AVG auto healing and quarantine options, set to report only.
Having any AV software auto heal is just asking for major grief because
all AV software get false positives on occasion. They shouldn't even
have such an option in any AV software IMO and it should just report and
ask what action you want to take.
