Default OT --Macromedia flash update --- needed??

I got one of those notifications that a Macromedia Flash Update is
available.

I realize that this software is neat for a few sites.

But, is an update also going to put other crap on my drive (spyware, etc.)
that I don't need.

In short, should I do the update?

Mel

Sure. It's clean and doesn't put anything else on your system.

As a future point of reference, always go to the software manufacture's
home site and down load from there. Everyone should always take a good look
at any provided links. Sometimes the bad guys wear white hats.
